Dear Residents,
It has come to the attention of the Board of Directors of the Whittier Community Association that numerous residents are dumping bulk trash items such as furniture, mattresses, tires etc.. in the common areas.
When a contractor has to be called to remove bulk items, this costs everyone in the community for the removal, possibly resulting in higher Association dues! The following are examples of items that the Association has had to pay to remove from the common area; carpet, furniture, lawn mowers, paint, drywall, lawn chairs, shelving, plywood, lumber, TV’s, etc......
If you have bulk trash items such as the ones listed above, please dispose of them at the Frederick County Landfill located at 9031 Reichs Ford Rd. (exit 55 off of Rt. 70). They are open Mon-Sat. 7:00am-4:30pm. There are also several small businesses that can be contacted to pick up these items, at a small cost.
I am asking residents to please make note of the addresses of residents that are seen dumping bulk trash. Please contact Management at nkeen@vanguardmgt.com with these addresses. They can be charged the cost of the removal.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
For the Board of Directors,
WHITTIER COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
